Freesat is digital TV received through a satellite dish and is basically the satellite equivalent of Freeview.

There are no monthly subscription charges. Once you've bought the box, dish and installation, that's it. The dish is exactly the same as a Sky dish.

Freesat is a good alternative to Freeview in poor reception areas where an aerial installation is either impossible or expensive.
